This link goes to a very interesting video made by a college, Vanderbilt, were they talk about what they want to see in the applications. For example they say they don't care if the student is in 95 different groups or just 2, because what they want to see is not only participation, but they want to see that you had a big impact on the group and actually changed how things were working there. They also talk about stuff like the essay also were they say that they want you to write your own essay, so they can say how you judge yourself not a counselor they want to see the true you.

Here an article talks about how the scholarships work. It says that honestly it is very unrealistic for a person to expect a scholarship, only 2% of seniors get scholarships to NCAA affiliated colleges. Most of those scholarships don't surpass 11,000 dollars. It says that it is good to be in athletic programs however that that will never make up for grades.
The picture represents the results of the supermatch quiz I took. During the quiz i tried applying some of the tips i had learned from the video to see what college to choose. I would put info like my gpa but choose the option of a college were i could possibly surpass the average for greater chances of getting financial aid. Also i choose the state were i plan to live my senior year to not only make it easier to get in, but also cheaper. it says to choose a place were you can have some "free time" to maybe join more groups and make your resume even better for when you apply for a masters.
