I was surprised...
- That people start at such a young age to send pictures. i personally wouldnt do that and havent considered it.

Swiss School
SUMAS VIDEO
SUMAS is the only school of Europe which offers both MBA's and Bachelor's degree in Europe. It has a very good, and even important teachers. Pretty much all of them have doctorates and others are Oxford university graduates. The video also talks about the advantage of the school being located in Switzerland It talks about how fun and nice it is to live in the country. It says how fun it is to go ski in the alps or do water sports in the lake. Also there are some cool events, and good night life. The other advantage is that it is in the middle of Europe, and it is extremely safe.
Sustainable consumption & production: a greener world
The video is about global warming and how the planet is deteriorating. It is said that by 2050 if we don't change the way that we produce we would need two times the surface of the Earth to store our waste and the CO2 produced. People can check their impact by finding their ecological footprint. In Europe govs are trying to control the impact by making the ecological label. That tells consumers they are making a good choice for future generations when the buy certain product. With that they can make sure the product doesn't use so much energy or have a rebound effect.
An Inconvenient Truth | Film Trailer | Participant Media
The trailer is to a very impacting movie. It is hosted by Al gore who was a candidate to the presidency but is said to have been robbed from it. In the video you see how in the last 14 years the 10 hottest have been recorded. That is impacting us by causing greater storm like Katrina, and also melting snow from places like the arctic mount Kilimanjaro and the Patagonia. All of that is going to raise the water levels by 20 feet covering entire states like Florida or cities like Singapore, and Calcutta. It is the scary truth because that could make 100 million refugees. The question he asks is interesting, "did the planet betray us, or did we betray the planet?"
The other two videos did not load.
Starbucks
According to their webpage Starbucks is taking a lot of initiatives to making a greener planet. They start by purchasing a high quality, but ethical product. That means they make sure that wherever they buy it from its not a place where they waste a lot or where the workers are being exploited. They also want to minimize their footprint as a corporation. They start by building greener stores that don't waste as much water or energy. One of their priorities is recycling and making sure that there are recycling bins available for the customers. They also use Eco- friendly cup materials that have less waste. They even pursue ways to help farmers get their land and try to prevent climate change. They are taking big steps in trying to reduce their footprint, and keep on growing in a sustainable way.

GAFE
Journal about Google Earth and Google Maps
Google earth is a virtual globe made by Google which uses different
satellite images to make an interactive view of the Earth. You can rotate the globe and zoom in and out
of different geographic locations. It has
features were you can see 3-D buildings, and mountains. To download the program
you just have to go in the Google search and type Google earth. Then that will give you the option to
download the program. It has a very fun
feature that is flight simulator. To get
the feature you just have to press CTRL +ALT+A.
Then you get the option to choose one of two planes, and even in what
airport you would like to begin in. Personally
I enjoy how realistic it is with the airplanes flaps, and also how interactive
it is. You can fly through Dubai and see the huge hotels since they are 3-D.
Google maps even though it is a similar program since they
are interactive and use satellite images, but Google maps functions more like a
free gps. You can use it to get
directions and it has a very cool feature which is street view. You can take a virtual walk through of cities
for example Paris. It has other cool
features like google sky, google mars, and google moon. In all of them you get different options on how
to look at the map. For example in google
sky you can see the historical map which is how people have been graphing the
galaxy throw-out time. Google maps can
give you directions to a certain place in different ways, like for example they
can show the directions if you’re waking, on a bike, car, or even the bus
routes. The street view is possible
thanks to google vans with cameras that would go around the cities taking pictures
of everything however they do protect the privacy of cars they find or people
by blurring out the license plate. All of these google map ideas came from diffrernt google employee's 20% project
